At QuayMed we encourage you to take responsibility for your own health.
You are able to book for a Well Person Medical Check, which includes an assessment of your concerns and any individual risk factors. Prior to the medical we ask that you have some screening fasting blood tests performed.
On the day of the medical you will first see the nurse for measurement of your height, weight, waist circumference and body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, peak flow (oxygen) rate, pulse, visual acuity and urinalysis check. Then you will see the doctor of your choice for a full health check and cardiovascular risk assessment.
If you would like to include an ECG (heart tracing) and hearing test, these can be included – please advise reception when making your appointment.
Fees for a Well Person Medical Check vary according to your needs – please ask reception when you book.
